The INNOVACCESS network of National Intellectual Property Offices, co-funded by the European Commission Directorate-General Enterprise and Industry under the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), serves the needs of SMEs both within national and European basis whilst continuing to improve and intensify their co-operation amongst each other and with general business support organisations. Its partners aim to co-ordinate and build synergies with other Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) related partners and projects in order to enhance competitiveness of SMEs, to empower them to integrate IPRs into their business strategies, and to improve their capabilities within the area of enforcement.
 
The purpose of the workshop is to transmit up-to-date information on IPR enforcement to the participating IP professionals. The workshop aims to be a living platform to exchange topic-related information and construct new or improved IPR enforcement support services. The workshop intends to stimulate discussion and to call for increased partnerships/cooperation in the field of IP enforcement.

Focus: European Commissions guidelines and initiatives for straightening IPR enforcement; European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights; anti-counterfeiting policies of national IP offices, practical tools/services on IPR enforcement

There is no registration fee for this event. Seating is limited and attendance is by registration only.
