EPO’s 2011 statistics are now available

On Tuesday, the European Patent Office (EPO) published the annual statistics on European patent applications and granted patents.

According to the EPO, last year the number of patent applications increased around 3,7%, as well as the number of granted patents. You can see also in these statistics data concerning the top applicants seeking protection with the EPO.
